Yoga is the union of mind, body and soul. The facial yoga is workout that may be newer and surprising to many but its effects on the personality and health improvement can never be denied.

It’s not the workout of one part of body but all parts of body as well as of mind. The mental faculties are also motivated through the yoga practice.

Here we’ll stick to the yoga that relates to the face only.

The facial yoga will give your face a new look and the blood circulation to all parts of your face.

We daily give various movements to our ears, tongue, nose, eyes, etc. and these movements must be worked out so that to make them healthier and fitter.

The facial yoga, a branch of power yoga, directly relates to the exercise of the face as we see it.

Various yoga facial workouts are given below for the people who take interest in them. Remember to sit straight and then

  1. Relax, close your eyes and focus your attention to a certain point for one minute.
  2. Swallow, press the tip of tongue to the upper cavity. Move your head towards the left side and swallow. Repeat the process towards the right side The shape of jaws and the inner tissues of mouth get strength through it.
  3. Wrinkling, crumpling and blowing will give strength to your lips.
  4. Satchmo: It is the pose of a trumpet player. It will help you facial skin get more blood flow and be stronger to the environment hazards.
  5. Sit straight with a look as you have been surprised by some thing unusual. Widen your eyes and focus on some thing in front of you for about 1 min.
  6. Don’t use nose for exhalation rather use your mouth for the purpose. Bring out your tongue, roll your eyes. Exercise for 1 min.
  7. Inhale through nose to give practice to your nostrils, press your fists and compress all your facial muscles.
  8. Make a smiling fish face by puckering your lips. It will give strength to your lips and chin muscles. Do it for 1 min.
  9. Let your tongue stay out for 1 min and the eyes wide open. It will strengthen your eye muscles.

Power yoga and the facial yoga are part and parcel of the yoga workouts as a whole.

The facial yoga is considered by some people as related to women only but the facial beauty is the right of men also.

So, the use of facial yoga will empower men to develop better looks and have better fitness.
